In your role you will become part of our development team and work with us on improvement and further development of the Zerocopter-platform that provides bug bounty and coordinated vulnerability disclosure programs, automated scanners and dedicated security checks.
Our team, including software engineers and security researchers, has been working remotely for years, so we already know how to play this game. You won't feel left out if you work from home! We prefer candidates living in the Netherlands, however, so you are able to join your colleagues regularly in our beautiful office in Amsterdam.
Ruby on Rails (both latest stable, no digging in Rails 2.3)
Postgres, Redis, Memcached, Heroku + additional infrastructure on AWS
Design and implement end-to-end product features in collaboration with UX Designers, Backend Engineers and Security Experts
Combine hands on coding with working on impactful project(s) and supporting other team members
Solve business problems, work cross-functionally and lead initiatives to improve our development process and business opportunities
Take initiative to address technical needs of the product and always keep the customer and our hacker community at the center of everything you do

4+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer in a commercial/product environment
Familiarity with OWASP top 10
Ability to write high-performance, reusable code
Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
Experience with data-driven product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc
Experience with Git, Github, code review process and continuous integration
Comfortable working on a command line
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
Familiarity with AWS and Ansible
Being attentive to daily operations, system status, and production incidents
Proficient English (both verbal and written)
